Your contract is with The Great Himalayan Escape. A contract is established between us once we have confirmed your booking request and received the required deposits for our tour, hotel bookings, or any other travel-related services of your choice. All correspondence regarding Tours or Travel Service bookings should be addressed to The Great Himalayan Escape.
To confirm your booking, a 40% advance payment is required, and the balance amount should be settled before the commencement of your tour. The advance payment amount may vary depending on the nature of services and the time remaining until the start of the services.
You can make payments via Bank Transfer, Cash payment at our office, or by Demand Draft / Cheque. All payments should be free of any withholding tax and deductions. Any bank charges for remittance would be borne by the payer.
Once the tour commences, it will adhere strictly to the finalized itinerary. However, in the event of circumstances beyond our control, we reserve the right to amend all or parts of the itinerary to ensure the safety and well-being of our passengers.
After finalizing the tour/service cost, any subsequent hikes in entrance fees, taxes, or other charges by the Government of India will be passed on as extra charges. We act solely as agents for hotels, airlines, transporters, and other service providers, and all issued documents are subject to their terms and conditions. Itineraries are indicative and may be subject to change due to various factors such as weather, road conditions, or the physical abilities of participants. We reserve the right to alter schedules for the safety and comfort of our passengers. We shall not be liable for delays or alterations due to natural hazards, flight cancellations, accidents, or any other unforeseen incidents. Additionally, we are not responsible for any loss, injury, or damage resulting from circumstances beyond our control.
Travelers require a valid passport and visa to enter India, except for citizens of Nepal & Bhutan. Processing of passports and visas is not included in the tour cost.
Travelers with contagious diseases are prohibited from participating in tours. Anyone found with such a disease during the tour will be asked to leave and make their own arrangements to return home.
Check-in is typically between 12:00 and 15:00 hours, while check-out is between 10:00 and 12:00 hours.
