Itinerary

• Upon your arrival at Bagdogra Airport/VEGA Circle, your designated driver will greet you and commence your journey to Gangtok.
• En route, you have the option to stop at Kalimpong for an exhilarating rafting experience in the Teesta River (at an additional cost).
• Upon reaching Gangtok, check into your hotel and unwind.
• The rest of the day is yours to explore at your leisure. In the evening, take a leisurely stroll along MG Marg, the bustling heart of Gangtok, where you can immerse yourself in local culture and shop for unique souvenirs.

• After breakfast, embark on a sightseeing tour of Gangtok with your driver. Your first stop is the renowned Tsomgo Lake, also known as Changu Lake, nestled at an elevation of 3,753 meters.
• Marvel at the breathtaking beauty of the lake and its surrounding landscapes. Continue your journey to Baba Mandir, a revered shrine steeped in history and spirituality.
• Optionally, you can also visit Nathula Pass, a vital pass on the Indo-China border (additional cost).
• Return to your hotel in Gangtok for a restful overnight stay.

Evening:
• MG Marg: Stroll, shop, and relax in Gangtok’s main shopping street.

• After breakfast and check-out from your hotel, your driver will pick you up for your transfer to Darjeeling. Traverse through picturesque landscapes adorned with snow-capped Himalayan peaks and sprawling tea gardens.
• Upon reaching Darjeeling and checking in at your hotel, spend the rest of the day at leisure. Explore the vibrant Mall Road, where you can indulge in shopping for souvenirs and sampling local delicacies.

• Rise early to witness the magical sunrise over Mt. Kanchenjunga from the vantage point of Tiger Hill. Marvel at the stunning views as the first rays of sunlight illuminate the majestic peaks.
• Return to Darjeeling and continue your sightseeing tour with visits to Batasia Loop, Ghoom Monastery, Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Darjeeling Zoo, and Tenzing Rock. Explore the lush tea estates, Tibetan Center, and Peace Pagoda, immersing yourself in the rich cultural and natural heritage of Darjeeling.
• Conclude your day with an overnight stay in Darjeeling.

• After breakfast, check out from your hotel in Darjeeling and prepare for your departure. Your driver will transfer you to Bagdogra Airport (IXB)/VEGA Circle in Siliguri, where you'll bid farewell to the enchanting landscapes of the Himalayas.
• Depart with cherished memories of your 5-day Himalayan adventure, knowing that the beauty and tranquility of Gangtok and Darjeeling will forever linger in your heart.

Terms & Condition

    Booking: : The mentioned itinerary is based on criteria such as the number of passengers. It has been calculated assuming the maximum number of passengers in a vehicle. To ensure the applicability of the quoted price, there should be at least six persons in the group. The pricing may increase if the number of passengers decreases. Your contract is with The Great Himalayan Escape. A contract is established once we confirm your booking request and receive the required deposits for our tour, hotel bookings, or any other travel-related services of your choice. All correspondence regarding tours or travel service bookings should be addressed to The Great Himalayan Escape. Payments: To confirm your booking, a 40% advance payment is required, and the balance must be settled before the commencement of your tour. The advance payment amount may vary depending on the nature of services and the time remaining until the start of the services. Payment Options: Payments can be made via Bank Transfer, Cash payment at our office, or by Demand Draft/Cheque. All payments should be free of any withholding tax and deductions. Any bank charges for remittance are the responsibility of the payer. Rights to Amend the Itinerary if Required: Once the tour commences, it will adhere strictly to the finalized itinerary. However, in circumstances beyond our control, we reserve the right to amend all or parts of the itinerary to ensure the safety and well-being of our passengers.
